The Mr. Ping Life Cigar World Tour kickstarted 2020 at home in Dubai and hosted an exclusive evening in collaboration with Roger Dubuis and Day & Night magazine.
Taking place in the heart of Dubai’s Financial Center in the Churchill Lounge at the Four Seasons DIFC, the event gave our guests the chance to sample some of the world’s finest cigars along with Roger Dubuis’ latest timepieces.
Guests tasted the Ramon Allones La Palmera cigar was a regional edition cigar exclusive for the United Arab Emirates along with the Cohiba Siglo VI, a cigar that often makes the top 25 list. It’s not the strongest Cohiba, as the Siglo series is lighter than the core Cohiba line, but the Siglo VI is by no means mild.
In terms of watches, Roger Dubuis displayed some of its iconic pieces and showed guests that the brand’s history can definitely be a part of its future. The atypical, oversized watches present at the event honored the horological innovation while maintaining several of the watchmaker’s recognizable design codes.
One of the highlights of the evening was the Excalibur Huracán, a piece created in collaboration with racing partners Lamborghini Squadra Corse and Pirelli. It features a design that embodies modern art, innovative architecture and a calibre worthy of the most complex engine.
Guests gathered around the watches while enjoying a fine smoke and discussing their passions, be it cigars or watchmaking, all under one roof and that is the beauty of the Mr. Ping Life Cigar World Tour.
