The Excalibur Spider is a powerful and daring iconic collection and it has become the Roger Dubuis‘ preferred platform, as it allows them to better convey their lifestyle and their vision of watchmaking.
Today the brand that dares to be different pays homage to its collaboration with Pirelli with the launch of exciting new interpretations of its iconic Excalibur collection, the Excalibur Spider and the Excalibur Spider Pirelli. No challenge is impossible for Roger Dubuis, which takes every opportunity to manifest its spirit as a serial innovator.
The exuberant creativity of Roger Dubuis’ R&D department created a small frame for the Manufacture’s iconic skeletonized flying tourbillon: an in-house caliber, which features one of the most sought-after complications in Hyper Horology, reduced to essentials in order to be placed inside a 39 mm case. Equipped with a power reserve of 60 hours, this extraordinary jewel of mechanical engineering boasts the iconic Poinçon de Genève decorations.
All three versions – rose gold with white accents, total black titanium or sporty in red and black – feature the Roger Dubuis quick release system and interchangeable straps – an offer that allows the Maison’s exclusive customers to change their look quickly and easily in full freedom.
Each timepiece is distinguished by a different insert: the one that matches the red Pirelli lettering is made with rubber from tires that have won real car races, the black version is in Rubber Tech and the white is made of shiny calfskin. All models have exclusive straps characterized, inside, by the legendary marks of Pirelli tires.
These releases are available in limited editions of only 88 units for the Excalibur Spider models in black and white and just 28 units for the Pirelli Excalibur Spider. Only a lucky few will be able to show off their uniqueness by wearing one of these avant-garde timepieces.
