Through the past few years, Hublot has gotten fans in the region used to a whirlwind of activities, from pop up boutiques and new boutique openings, to Ferrari driving simulation experiences. This year, we saw the World of Hublot up close through an pop up area at The Dubai Mall, where the brand’s major partnerships were presented in detail by CEO of Hublot Ricardo Guadalupe, Hublot Regional Director Middle East & Africa Marco Tedeschi and members of Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons.
The World of Hublot portrayed the brand’s unique identity, pioneering concepts and collaborations with its key partners Berluti, Ferrari and Italia Independent. Ricardo Guadalupe and Marco Tedeschi were joined by Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons Vice Chairman Abdulhamied Ahmed Seddiqi and Chief Commercial Officer Mohammed Abdulmagied Seddiqi to revisit with press and fans Hublot’s All Black timepieces from the past decade, discover novelties and learn more about Hublot and its collaborations with partner brands. “Just like our All Black concept is all about rendering the invisible visible, we decided to reveal The World of Hublot in full transparency to our customers and fans in the Middle East through a genuine experience in the region’s biggest retail space,” said Ricardo Guadalupe. Esteemed Hublot clients and collectors celebrated with Hublot and Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons management at an All Black party on October 12 and with friends and partners on October 13.
“We are proud to present Dubai with one of the biggest and most impactful Hublot events in the region. After the success of the Hublot boutique opening in The Dubai Mall, we are looking forward to yet another unforgettable journey with the brand and our customers,” shared Abdulhamied Ahmed Seddiqi. As Hublot links tradition to innovation, the five sections were linked through a mysterious Hublot maze, keeping the next “destination” a surprise. The journey started at the All Black section, with a discovery of the history of the pioneering monochrome concept dating back to 2006, and its evolution to become a current “must-have” trend, and ended at the Hublot Strap Bar with the ingenious One-Click system which instantly changes the strap on Big Bang watches. Marco Tedeschi commented: “We wanted to offer something special to the press, our customers and friends here in the UAE, which is Hublot’s largest market in the Middle East. The World of Hublot is a huge project for us and we are happy that everyone will get to see it through our first, different and unique vision.”
A visit to the Berluti section allowed the discovery of the all new Classic Fusion Berluti timepiece with its striking green leather strap, while the thrilling MP-05 LaFerrari Sapphire, a feat in the world of watchmaking, debuted in the Ferrari section. The Hublot and Italia Independent section showed time through the eyes of a trendy, sophisticated collection, in a camouflaged environment.
