The Selection: America’s Cup Watches

Sports and timekeepers have always been strong partners. With the America’s Cup taking place less than a year away, we decided to put together a list of our favorite America’s Cup Watches.

Ulysse Nardin Classico Enamel America

This watch is an homage to the 1851 winner of the regatta, America. At the time the race was called the Royal Yacht Squadron’s 100 Pound Cup and was changed to America’s Cup after this victory. This 40mm white and rose gold limited edition of 30 pieces boasts a painting of the America on its dial making it the ultimate watch for sailing enthusiasts and history buffs.

This timepiece features several subdials marking 30 minutes and 12-hours as well as a tricolor color scheme reminiscent of the different flags used during the race.

Panerai Luna Rossa

The Luminor Luna Rossa GMT commemorates Panerai’s sponsorship of Italy’s Challenger team for the 36th America’s Cup. It has a dial covered with a thin layer of fabric from the sailing equipment used for the hull of the Luna Rossa, and a case made of titanium with a black DLC coating.
