The Montblanc 1858 adventure continues. It started at the top of the mountains then moved from the summit to the forest, reached the icy caves and now we are taking it to the rocky desert of the UAE.
As any real adventure we went prepared with one goal in mind, complete the journey and celebrate the adventurous spirit of the 1858 collection.
1858 Black Geosphere Limited Edition – 42 mm
It comes in a 42 mm distressed stainless steel case combined with black and contrasting white design details. The timepiece features a manufacture world-time complication developed by the Montblanc watchmakers in Villeret: two domed globes, turning in opposite directions, that complete a full rotation in 24 hours. Both are surrounded by a scale with the 24 time zones, along with a day and night indication in contrasting colour.
This provides an instinctive way of appreciating the different time zones, aided by luminescent continents for increased visibility and performance at night. The timepiece is completed with a black calf leather strap with beige stitching.
1858 Geosphere Limited Edition 1858: rocky desert-coloured dial
The Montblanc 1858 Geosphere is one of the key icons of the Montblanc 1858 line with its two distinctive domed turning hemisphere globes and in-house worldtime complication. Inspired by the explorations of legendary mountaineer Reinhold Messner, Montblanc unveils the new Montblanc 1858 Geosphere Limited Edition 1858 that pays tribute to his five-week solo trek across the Gobi desert in 2004.
Reproducing the rocky terrain colour scheme, the timepiece harmoniously combines a satin-finished bronze case with a special engraving on the case back, a bi-directional shiny brown ceramic bezel, a smoked brown and beige lacquered dial, and a matching vintage-brown Sfumato calf strap.
1858 Black Chronograph Automatic Limited Edition – 42 mm
