While in BaselWorld 2014, and after the full tour of the MGI booth, we had the chance to meet up with Concord Watches Middle East ambassador, Nouraldin Al Yousuf, who took us on a tour exploring the great city of Basel, with its special architecture, culture, and so we crossed the Rhein.
We started the day by meeting Efraim Grinberg Chairman and CEO of the Movado Group Inc, Movado / Concord and EBEL, who explained to us the idea behind this special big luxury booth with its spectacular art exhibition at the entrance, and how the group is supporting the Arts. Such a refined, big booth helps the group to welcome their clients better and offer them more space for discussions and conducting business.
Meeting up next with Concord General Manager Flavio Pellegrini, he tell us how the Mariner is not a normal watch, but an iconic watch with a character, and explains the challenges still facing the brand in the Middle East.
After a visit at the booth, we go delve into a conversation with Nouraldin and Flavio, where the first was impressed by the experience at the fair and the luxurious MGI booth, highlighting the art exhibition, which was brought forward by Flavio as well.
