Music Icons James Blunt and Christina Perri To Headline The First Night!!
The 13th edition of the event, which is synonymous with Dubai’s musical entertainment scene, takes place from 25th – 27th February at the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre under a new theme, ‘A Unique Take On Music, Art and Lifestyle,’ as the event combines a music fusion that transcends genres and generations while offering its diverse audiences a distinctive blend of sound, fun and art all packed in one enthralling venue.
Based on the turnout in past Dubai Jazz Festivals, organizers expect some 30,000 music fans from different age group and ethnic backgrounds to flock in the three-day event’s familiar DMC venue in order to enjoy the signature atmosphere, happenings, food and beverage offering and of course, the Festival’s main course; the internationally acclaimed artists’ lineup.
Due to unprecedented demand and two previously sold out shows, Chillout Productions has secured the return of Platinum selling singer-songwriter James Blunt who will be headlining the opening night of Wednesday, February 25, 2015, together with award-winning musician Christina Perri who will be making her Middle East debut at Emirates Airline Dubai Jazz Festival® 2015. Blunt and Perri will make audiences swoon, as they combine a grace, charm and romance never before seen in Dubai.
“The 13th edition of the Emirates Airline Dubai Jazz Festival® 2015 promises to be yet another one-of-a-kind experience for fans and artists alike. The festival represents a return to where it all started in 2003 at Media City. We are thoroughly excited by what is in store under the event’s new theme, A Unique Take On Music, Art and Lifestyle,” said Anthony Younes, Co-Founder and CEO of Chillout Productions.
“Getting the crowd’s experience right is what we pride ourselves on the most and this year we are committed to continuing this longstanding tradition with a roster of excellent artists and high energy entertainment. Stay tuned for more thrilling announcements around our headliners and associated events in this festival like no other,” concluded Younes.
