Ermenegildo Zegna is proud to announce the unveiling of the new Couture Room designed by Peter Marino to host the Ermenegildo Zegna Couture collection by Stefano Pilati.
The Milan Global Store in Via Montenapoleone was the first one to house this new luxury area, launched during the last Milan Fashion Week.
The new concept blends the expertise and traditional heritage of Ermenegildo Zegna with the industrial world. The result is a skillful use of exclusive materials in an ivory colour palette, such as the gouged Satinwood, mixed with antique bronze and dark metals to create a luxurious and intimate atmosphere: ivory plain Oak and Parchment are alternated on the walls, while are also used black Oil-quenched Steel and creamish pin-striped lacquered plaster.
The Couture Room in the Milan Global Store is furnished with hand-made wool and silk carpets, as well as vintage armchairs by Tobia Scarpa and Osvaldo Borsani.
After the launch in Milan the Couture Room will open in Osaka in July 2014, followed by openings in other cities throughout the world.
