Skylinechess – Premium Metal Dubai Edition
The iconic Dubai skyline needs no introduction. You’ve almost all seen it in person, from the see, from the air, in pictures or maybe in your dreams. And now, you can see it on a lavish chess board! The sets are based on a screen-printed wooden city map or Italian Carrara marble (our pick) and famous buildings from around the city form the 32 playing pieces which are hand-cast in solid resin with metal powder: Sheikh Saeed Al Maktoum’s House plays the pawn; Cayan Tower is the rook; the Jumeirah Emirates Towers rise as the valiant knights; the Rose Rotana stands as a wise bishop and the Princess Tower is revered as a regal queen, by her king, the commanding Burj Khalifa.
This is an over the top -pun intended- game that you do not want to knock down by mistake. And if you’re a chess aficionado, you might want to look into building a collection, with sets portraying other cities such as London, Paris and NYC.

Givenchy – Wing low-top transparent sneakers
The Wing low-top sneakers from Givenchy are an oddity, let’s put it out there from the start. A fun one though! Both the translucent rubber and the neon green color look like they were left behind by amicable aliens as a gift to the world of funky shoes. Featuring a logo print on the side, perforated detailing and a logo patch at the tongue, the sneakers mix structural elements with casual comfort.

Aston Martin & Brough Superior – AMB 001
The AMB 001 is a futuristic-looking motorcycle by Aston Martin and Brough Superior, welding together beautiful design and modern technology. Adorned in the traditional Aston Martin Camo livery, it boasts an aluminium fin that runs along the full length of a carbon fibre tank, passing under the saddle and out onto the rear. The AMB 001 is powered by a turbo-charged engine with an output of 180 hp, which is unique in the motorcycle industry for a serial production bike.
Although still in its comprehensive testing phase at the track at Pau-Arnos, France, the bike will go into production this Autumn and the limited 100 examples are schedule for first deliveries at the end of 2020. At least some 100 collectors will end this ‘let’s-just-delete-it’ year on a very happy note!
