The “Arturo Fuente ForbiddenX” watch dials are coated with the same real tobacco leaves used to create the prestigious ForbiddenX cigar; provided by the Fuente Estate in Santo Domingo to the Hublot Manufacture in Switzerland, the leaves are treated through a high tech process where epoxy resin renders them stable and rigid before they are inserted in the dials. The watches are delivered in a real wooden “humidor” cigar box specially developed by Hublot to regulate the humidity and ensure the cigars are kept in perfect condition.
Designed, developed and produced at the Hublot Manufacture, with the tobacco leaves being personally selected by Carlos Fuente Jr., the watches come in a shade of brown that harmoniously matches the colour of the tobacco leaves in the dials, and are available in 4 different versions: a titanium version, a black ceramic version, a King Gold version (Hublot’s famous precious red gold) and a luxury version equipped with a tourbillon movement -limited to 30 numbered pieces.
The tourbillon cage of the HUB6011 Manufacture movement, its 155 components and 5-day power reserve can all been seen through the tobacco leaf forming the dial. A tone-on-tone tobacco-coloured calfskin strap featuring the exclusive ForbiddenX symbol completes each watch.
Known and prized by connoisseurs worldwide, the ForbiddenX cigar, born from the passion and dedication of the “Reigning Family of Premium Cigars”, has its own production room at the Château de la Fuente manufacture in the Dominican Republic, where its unique spicy flavour is formed, evoking forbidden pleasures.
