The Year Of Habanos

2020 is bound to be an exciting year for cigar aficionados, Habanos has announced its line-up for the year. We were fortunate enough, before the world went on lockdown, to attend the festival and sample some of the upcoming products.

One of the highlights of the festival was definitely Romeo Y Julieta. To celebrate its 145th anniversary, the brand will release a new collection dubbed Línea de Oro. Featuring three different ring sizes, the Dianas, Hidalgos, and Nobles will all be delivered in limited-edition boxes of 20. The references are nice, still a bit young to smoke but looks very interesting and can be surely be aged. The Nobles, once aged, has the potential to become a phenomenal smoke with time.

Montecristo is celebrating its 85th anniversary this year and to mark the occasion, Habanos is releasing the Herederos. This limited-edition cigar will be sold in a commemorative humidor exclusively at La Casa del Habano and Habanos Specialists retailers.

Talking of La Casa del Habano, the international franchise is turning 30 and it coincides with Juan Lopez’s 150th anniversary, so the Selección Especial, which is a La Casa del Habano exclusive celebrates both occasions with an exclusive edition.
