The latest installment of our Mr. Ping Life Cigar World Tour saw Arturo Fuente cigars take over one of Dubai’s most iconic venues for the launch of its first country the Opus X 2020.
Hosted in Downtown Dubai in a stunning venue overlooking the Burj Khalifa, the launch gathered more than 200 cigar aficionados from around the UAE to try this exclusive product and meet the man himself, Carlos Fuente Jr.
The evening started with a wide array of South American inspired entertainment before Mr. Mohammed Mohebi took the stage to introduce Carlito, talk about their common story, then paid a heartfelt tribute to his late father. Carlito then stepped on stage and shared his love for the UAE and the Mohebi family.
“From the first moment my foot touched the sand, my eyes fixed the horizon and I experienced the unique scent only the desert can offer; I immediately realized how much affection I had developed for the UAE,” explained Carlito.
Carlito’s friendship with Mohammed Mohebi, one of UAE’s most prominent personalities and cigar aficionados, both influenced and contributed to the masterpiece that Chateau de la Fuente created.
Like the original Fuente Fuente OpusX, the cigar uses tobacco from the Fuente family’s Chateau de la Fuente in El Caribe, Dominican Republic.
This special edition comes in three sizes Arena d’Amor 52, Sol d’Amor 5, the Viento d’Amor 58 will debut in January in honor of the upcoming 2020 World Exposition hosted by the United Arab Emirates. These masterpieces will be exclusively launched in the UAE’s local and Duty-Free markets.
Once again, the Mr. Ping Life Cigar World Tour brought aficionados together to share their passion and celebrate a unique product.
