For the occasion Richard Mille hosted a reception attended by members of the press and Guest of Honour the Chairman of Manchester City Football Club – H.E. Khaldoon Al Mubarak – who cut the ceremonial ribbon today alongside Mr. Richard Mille, President of Richard Mille Watches and Mr. Abdul Hamied Seddiqi, the Chairman of Al Manara International Jewellery.

At the opening ceremony, a unique a RM 010 piece was handed over by the Chairman of Manchester City Football Club, H.E. Khaldoon Al Mubarak, and symbolically received by Mr. Yahya Ismaik on behalf of his family who bought the unique piece. Featuring the distinctive Manchester City Football Club’s crest on the front bezel and the back sapphire glass, the watch was sold for charity and the proceeds devolved to the honourable cause of the Club’s own Charity Foundation, ‘City in the Community’. The proceeds will go towards improving the lives of local children in the Manchester area, helping them to achieve their goals and exceed their potential through sport and education.
The newly opened boutique showcases a complete range of Richard Mille timepieces for men and women, including tourbillions, limited editions, jewellery watches and the latest releases such as the RM 031 High Performance Caliber, the RM 055 Bubba Watson, the RM 011 Polo de Saint-Tropez Limited Edition and the RM 020 Tourbillon Pocket Watch in white gold.
A seven-foot-tall sculpture modelled on a Richard Mille mechanical movement welcomes guests upon entering the boutique. The inside decor recalls Richard Mille’s distinctive design identity, featuring contemporary materials such as Makassar wood, steel, stone and glass.
