Forrey & Galland introduces ‘Peacock’ collection for Ramadan

French confectionery enriched with Arabic flavors

For Ramadan this year, luxury French chocolatier Forrey & Galland is introducing a “Peacock” themed collection for this special occasion.  New creations within the brand’s confectionery and porcelain ranges have been crafted especially for the season.   “We were inspired by the peacock as it is an extremely elegant and fascinating bird. The combination of colors in their feathers was a source of inspiration for the collection and the packaging,” said Isabelle Jaouen, Managing Director of Forrey & Galland. “It is the perfect choice, especially as the peacock is associated with luck within this region.”

The Oriental Meringues are an exciting addition: crunchy meringue filled with different flavors, coated in a layer of chocolate. The collection is available in the following Arabic inspired flavors; halwa, rahash, dates, pistachio, rose, orange blossom and cardamom.

Another new delicacy is the Petits Financiers. Sweet mini cakes half dipped in chocolate, which are available in three flavors; apricot, pistachio and orange.

Forrey & Galland has also added new products to some of the existing collections; customers can now enjoy rose and orange blossom flavored marzipans in creative flower shapes, the Omani Halwa Truffle joins the ever popular Truffle Collection and this year the Ramadan Florentin flavour is pistachio.

These specialties will be available at Forrey & Galland’s “Le Macaron” kiosks in Abu Dhabi and Dubai Festival City as well as at the Dubai Mall boutique.

The peacock theme spans across the remaining range of offerings, with the new Vetrofusso collection, decorated with intricately painted peacock feathers, designed by Italian and French artists especially for the brand. True to the spirit of Ramadan Forrey & Galland’s Dubai Mall boutique will also be decorated in the deep blues and greens of the peacock, and customers will be able to view works of art that have been specially commissioned for display during the holy month.
