The M/Y Asya, 1 year old this March, is the second in the restyled 47m class, a breed of yachts whose exterior design by the talented Frank Laupman of Omega Architects combines elegant traditional lines with contemporary flair. Powered by two MTU8V 4000 M63 diesel engines, M/Y Asya’s well-engineered steel hull with bulbous bow provides smooth passage and exceeds the contractual speed by 0.8 knots. At her cruising speed (12 knots) she has a range of 4,000 nautical miles.
A large selection of “Princess” boats were on display, and our eyes fell upon the Princess 88 Motor Yacht a fine specimen of Princess design and craftsmanship. Her unique deep-V hull design balances incredible fuel efficiency with precise performance and agility. The vast flybridge and cockpit areas are exceptionally appointed for formal or social occasions. One of the most interesting features of the boat is a balcony that unfolds over the sea at the touch of a button, providing an additional surprise sundeck. Panoramic windows on the main deck allow natural light to flood into every corner. The lower deck boasts up to five en suite cabins, while well proportioned crew quarters incorporating a captain’s cabin, bunk cabin and crew mess complete the impressive layout.
A 32.70 m superyacht, the Majesty 105 is a beautiful white and birch wood-coloured that can act as a small home on the waters. Its bright colours add a joyful feel to the vessel, and the on-deck jacuzzi keeps everyone on board well refreshed. The brown wood, plush interior is furnished with comfortable white sofas, matching the exterior furnishing. Truly elegant, the Majesty 105 holds its brand name well.
This is one for the socialites out there; whether party people who take fun times out to sea. or groups holding official or social functions.
